"Løst på splines" høres ut som en god beskrivelse av det jeg observerte.mekkern skrev: 28 aug 2019, 20:16 Har en cbr1000 og der mener jeg også at drevet er " løst" på splines...600 xl`n også?
Kan faktisk se ut som det skal være slik, fra noe jeg fant på et forum der CBR 250 R diskuteres;
"loose front sprocket
Taking off the front sprocket cover to have a look, I put a socket on the 10mm bolts to make sure they are tight and they are, but notice that the sprocket has got lateral movement on the spline, meaning I can rock it sideways!
This does not seem at all normal. I think I need a new front sprocket. When I got the bike (3000km) the chain was dry and slightly tight. Jumping ahead of myself here, could a tight chain damage the F.sprocket spline?
Second question. The rear sprocket assembly has slight forward and backward movement (approx. 2mm), when the wheel is stationary. But no lateral movement. How does that sound.?
Any suggestions / observations would be appreciated. Thank you.

Both your front and rear sprockets are supposed to have those movements. I'm going to resist the urge to go into a lengthy, detailed technical thesis here, as my wife just called me to the dinner table. ..."
