Hi all!
Hope english is alright, since my norwegian is absolutely dårlig.
So I moved to Oslo, got a job, got the bike I wanted, now my next question is what options are there for track days around here? Both "free roam" and also courses with an instructor would be cool. The norwegian speed limits are slowly driving me nuts
I've tried looking around with the trusty google translate, and making some calls, but it is hard to find info, or info that is up to date. And the whole corona thing hasn't helped.
Feel free to move this to the correct subforum if this one ain't it.

Join the Norwegian Ducati club, Desmodromene, they do track days for members.

I'm sure others have more to add on the subject.

Re: Track day options for people in Oslo?
Welcome :)
"Around here" - Closest is Rudskogen 1h+ from Oslo.
I ride with Senior MC on their "Førerutviklingskurs" at thursdays. Not a track day per se, but you do ride in classes matching your speed. Sometimes you have to follow an instructor, sometimes you're allowed to ride freely, with some exceptions to rules for passing, depending on speed class.
A prerequisite for joining SMC at Rudskogen is to have completed their course at the Gardermoen Raceway. Safety courses, bike handling, braking etc. After that you need to join the lowest class at Rudskogen which is very instructor-oriented. After that you can sign up for regular thursdays. Jumping up in classes have to be validated by an instructor first.

Re: Track day options for people in Oslo?
The Corona has disturbed a lot of trackdays and racing this spring.
Bikeport has trackdays on most of the norwegian tracks.
Racing4fun the same, and they also have some events in sweeden.
Borg MC-klubb had a trackday event scheduled on Rudskogen this summer, but the corona shut it down.
Senior MC safe rider-cources on Rudskogen thursdays lets you do some track-riding, provided you attend the initiating safetycource first, but its not close to the term "trackdays". Lots of fun, though.
Good luck:)

Re: Track day options for people in Oslo?
From Bikeport today, confirming td events throughout the 2020 season:
I dag ble det bekreftet at arrangement med inntil 200 personer er tillatt fra mandag. Dette betyr at vi gjennomfører resten av sesongen som planlagt med ACR Juli, ACR August og Rudskogen september. Det begynner allerede å bli lite med plasser igjen på noe, så skal du værra med.......gi gass!
